Preschool
We welcome children from three months to six years into a joyful, nurturing environment. With a Montessori-inspired approach, we prioritise warm relationships, independence, and exploration, laying vital foundations for growth, belonging, and thriving in these formative years.
A child-centered
environment
We follow a Montessori-inspired, whole-child approach that nurtures curiosity, independence, and exploration. Through sensorial learning and hands-on experiences, children grow socially, emotionally, and cognitively in a joyful, child-centred environment where discovery and development go hand in hand.
Every child is treasured
Children need love as much as they need learning. In fact, our learning is maximised because we prioritise relationships and nurture; because we create time for socio-emotional learning and wellness. We don’t leave the emotional tone of our school to chance.
Foundations for lifelong learning
Our preschool follows the early years programme to align with the Cambridge expectations of our preparatory school creating an environment of high expectation and high support – unlocking the incredible potential of each child through our Montessori-inspired programme.
Personalised learning
Our preschool creates opportunities for self-paced learning in subjects like Maths and English because children learn best when work is at a “just right” level of difficulty (the sweet spot between boring and frustrating).
A day in the life of
The day is thoughtfully structured to balance focused learning, purposeful exploration, and active play, creating an environment where children can grow with joy and confidence.
Language-rich experiences that nurture early literacy through storytelling, conversation, and phonetic awareness.
Concrete, hands-on maths activities that build number sense, problem-solving, and logical thinking.
Grace and courtesy lessons to support emotional regulation, empathy, and positive friendships.
Art, music, and imaginative expression to cultivate creativity and wonder.
Outdoor exploration and movement that strengthen coordination, independence, and a love of nature.
Gross motor development through sports sessions builds coordination, balance, and strength, laying strong foundations for confidence, healthy habits, and lifelong learning.
Practical life activities such as food preparation, tidying, and self-care that build responsibility and independence.
Thrive Youth introduces faith in a natural and age-appropriate way.
